About Me

A history major working in IT, I started knitting around 2005, on a quest to knit the perfect sweater.

I’ve not had too much luck with my adult sweaters so far, but I’m on the stubborn side and I’ll keep trying. In the meantime I’ve become a confident knitter of socks, lace and baby items.

I resisted taking up spinning for the longest time. Insisted at the top of my lungs that there had to be a few knitters keeping the people involved in commercial and indie yarn production employed. I tried, I really did. Then I took a drop spindle class and promptly bought a spindle… and some fiber… and some more fiber…

Oh dear.
